Final Lantern

This is my final lantern for this project. I am really happy with how it turned out. It looks really cool with the light on and adds a great reflection off of the walls when it is dark in the room.

Final Prototype

I decided that I wanted to find a way to combine my two prototypes. They both have really interesting elements and I decided to use both techniques for the final lantern.

Lantern Prototypes

I narrowed down my ideas into these two prototypes. The first one is really cool because of the way the light bounces off of all the folds. The second one involved a lot of layering and is really interesting when the light turns on.

Lantern Project

 For our last project, we experimented with light using bristol board in order to create a lantern. These are a few of my favorite preliminary models I created to brainstorm my idea.
